Tip #1: Reduce Stress. This is a pretty dang obvious one. Stress is one of the biggest causes of sickness and death in the entire world at the moment. If you’ve heard someone use the term/phrase “stress kills,” they weren’t just using it because it sounded cool, they were telling the actual truth. In addition to helping with things like aging slower than normal and feeling the effects of aging later rather sooner. Reducing stress in your life also, obviously, makes you feel better about yourself and your life, making you feel more relaxed, think clearer and faster, plus an abundance of other benefits that everyone will live a better life with.

Tip #2: Exercise. Ummmm… Yeah… This is another obvious one, but it’s extremely valuable no matter what. This helps you lose weight, keep it off, make you and your body feel young again, stimulate your brain to work better and last longer, Etc…

Tip #3: Eat Less Protein. Wait, what? What? Whaaaaaat? LESS protein? Isn’t protein good for me? Well, yes and no. I’ll tell you why. It’s more restricting calories rather than protein, although there’s more to it than that. The benefits of calorie restriction are, well, large in numbers. They prevent many chronic diseases, they maintain your biological and metabolic functioning the levels of a much younger person, that’s very, very good by the way. It’s even been shown to greatly extend the lives of different animal species, plus, all the evidence actually points towards it being extremely beneficial for humans as well. Cool right? Let’s talk a bit more about that.

Instead of greatly limiting our calories we can just eat less protein instead. Emerging evidence is pointing towards protein restriction providing the same benefits as calorie restriction. Additionally, doing protein fasts, which last anywhere from 18 – 24 hours on average, have been shown to promote autophagy. What is autophagy? It’s a beneficial cellular cleansing process during which the body starts recycling junk proteins inside the cell to meet protein needs. This is a very important process, and is a necessary step in the fight against aging.
