These ingredients used at optimal doses have resulted in a potent “pro-oxidant”. In one MD Anderson study, the ingredients and ratios used in Apatone + increased the potency of the chemotherapy drug Gemcitabine by over 600% with no extra toxicity.

In 2006, an FDA Phase 1 Study was done on Vitamin C and K3 in a 100:1 ratio under the drug name Apatone. 17 end stage prostate cancer patients were treated for a period of 12 weeks. The Apatone was shown to nearly stop all of the velocity projections of PSA’s.

Apatone, however, was never designed as a stand alone treatment and use with chemotherapy is thought to be its biggest potential.

Here is a quote from the 2016 MD Anderson Study on Apatone and Ovarian Carcinoma.

“This report again brings credence to support the usage in clinics of an innovative, potent, safe and inexpensive treatment, made from a combined ascorbate: menadione sulfite, named Apatone. This drug can become an adjuvant to surgical, irradiation and/or chemotherapeutic treatment against ovarian carcinomas, related perineal and peritoneal malignancies. Alone Apatone kills tumor cells efficiently not only in vitro but also tumors bearing in vivo xenotransplants . In combination with irradiation, it offers an attractive complementary chemotherapeutic therapy that leaves normal cells and other organ-systems unaffected by the treatment.”
